University Advisory Board
The University Advisory Borad is established by the University Council and consists of eminent academicians and scholars from relevant disciplines. Its role is to advise the University on strategic planning, quality management, and other critical areas related to the University's growth. The President shall chair the meetings in the presence of the Advisory Board.
Appointment
The University Council nominates Advisory Board members. Members shall be invited to serve an initial term of up to three years and may be reappointed for a second term of up to three years, for a maximum of six consecutive years of service.
Expectations of the Advisory Board
• Act as a key link between FBSU and internal policymakers, academicians, researchers, healthcare providers, government and non-governmental agencies, etc.
• Provide advice to FBSU on developing and implementing the Strategic Plan, annual activity plans, and strategic initiative budget.
• Offer guidance on regular performance measurement and evaluation activities to ensure the University meets the objectives outlined in its strategic plan and addresses relevant recommendations from international review panels.
• Contribute to FBSU’s vision by sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Recommend qualified individuals to Assist the University (e.g., for peer reviews, speaking engagements, etc.).
• Serve as a brand ambassador for FBSU.
Time Requirement and Meeting Procedures
• Meetings are held at least once a year.
• Meetings are chaired by the President with the presence of a BoT member and may include additional invited guests as needed.
