Fahad Bin Sultan University Achieves International ABET Accreditation for Four Engineering Programs

Fahad Bin Sultan University (FBSU) has achieved a significant international academic milestone with four bachelor’s degree programs in the College of Engineering receiving accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, a leading U.S.-based nonprofit organization recognized globally for quality assurance in engineering and related disciplines.

The ABET-accredited programs are:

  1. Bachelor of Civil Engineering
  2. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
  3. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  4. Bachelor of Renewable Energy Engineering

This achievement reflects FBSU’s commitment to maintaining high standards of academic quality and continuous improvement and confirms that its engineering programs meet internationally recognized standards for engineering education. It also strengthens the University’s efforts to prepare highly qualified graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to compete in national and international professional environments.

The accreditation further supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to the development of highly skilled engineering professionals capable of supporting the Kingdom’s technological advancement, infrastructure development, energy transformation, and sustainable economic growth.

Fahad Bin Sultan University extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Education, the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) represented by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation (NCAAA), and the University’s Board of Trustees for their continued support.
