The Department of Renewable Energy Engineering at Fahad Bin Sultan University proudly announces that its students secured Third Place in the Lean Six Sigma Competition at the 3rd GCC International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM 2026), held in Tabuk.

The awarded project, “Optimized and Energy-Efficient Desalination Using Renewable Energy Integration,” was presented by Hamzah Alsadoun, Seham Alqubali, and Lama Alsadoun, in collaboration with Dr. Faraz Mir (ENOWA/NEOM), under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah Alali, Chairperson of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering.

This achievement reflects the department’s commitment to research excellence, sustainability, and strong industry collaboration.
