HRH Prince Fahad Bin Sultan Chairs FBSU Board of Trustees
His Royal Highness Prince Fahad Bin Sultan, Prince of Tabuk and Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, chaired on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 a meeting of the members of the University's Board of Trustees. At the outset of the meeting, HRH welcomed the members and praised the university's accomplishments and the high academic standing it has achieved. HRH asserted the importance of the ongoing innovative work to achieve excellence and better serve the local community. HRH also pointed out to the University's half-annual report, which stresses development and quality.
Next, the members of the board of trustees presented to HRH copies of the Institutional Accreditation certificate and the Ministry of Education's approval to launch master's programs in Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering. On his part, HRH congratulated the University on achieving the Institutional Accreditation, wishing the University of further progress and success.
Then, the Board discussed the meeting's agenda and adopted appropriate decisions on the matters listed. Chief among them were the approval of the list of the graduating students, which consists of 460 undergrads and 70 grads, and the renewal of the contract of Dr. Mohammad Al-Luhaidan, University Director. In addition, the Board approved the tuition fees of the new master's programs.
On their part, the members of the Board of Trustees expressed their gratitude and appreciation to HRH Prince Fahad Bin Sultan, Prince of Tabuk and Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees for the continuous care and attention he has paid to the University since its establishment.
